Little Libraries

Coastal Virginia’s latest “little free library” opened recently in James City County (4601 Minutemen Way in Liberty Crossing), the first one of its kind in this area. Little libraries are a national movement that encourages patrons to a take a few books from a small box, often resembling a little house, and replenish it with some of their own favorite reads. The Little Free Library organization’s website lists additional locations in Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Newport News and Chesapeake. Grab some winter reading—24hours a day—the little library is always open.
