Boardwalk Art Show 2014

The 59th Boardwalk Art Show in Virginia Beach featured some familar faces as well as some newcomers, but all brought their "A" games for this year's show.

Weather was a factor Friday night, as strong winds and rain pelted artists doing everything they could to keep things dry and stable. Josh Soloman, a glass artist from Norfolk, fell victim to the weather when one of his pedestals became saturated, thus collapsing and allowing the glass sculpture upon it to meet the concrete below.

Saturday and Sunday were beautiful, and both days the boardwalk swelled with tourists and locals eager to get a look at what treasure was hiding within each booth.
