Come out to see where the earliest English Settlers lived in Southeastern Virginia via a bicycle. Utilize a great (free) VDOT ferry to cross the James River while the sun is rising. The scenery throughout the ride is just amazing, you will experience a roundabout, a great tour of Chippokes Plantation State Park where you are welcomed by volunteers that have food and water to keep you going. Other notable sights are remote country roads, a trip past the Historic area called Bacon's Castle and several views of the beautiful James River.
