D'Art Center's Material is a national fiber arts exhibition curated by the D'Art Center staff, with over 50 works created by 43 artists from 20 different states from as far away as Alaska.
Material features a wide range of original fiber artworks created from both natural and synthetic fibers. The exhibition presents a mixture of functional and nonfunctional explorations of both two-dimensional and three-dimensional works, including creations in fibers- weaving, sculpture, screen print, embroidery and quilting.
