Dogs Take Back Hampton Roads Beaches!

How was your Labor Day weekend? Mine was quite relaxing! Chuy and I are excited about the “unofficial” end of summer here in Hampton Roads. Why? It means that the locals get to take back the beaches!

All of the seasonal beach restrictions for dogs are lifted after Labor Day.

What does that mean?

It means that dogs are allowed on public beaches any time of day now through Memorial Day. Just make sure to always clean up after your pooch!

If you are new to the area or need to refresh your memory on our area beaches, check out the Hampton Roads Dog Blog.

Now that the weather is starting to cool off and fall is right around the corner, I’ll be blogging about things to do in the fall with your pets. Do you have a favorite fall activity in Hampton Roads? Leave a comment below and let me know!
