What To Do With Those Thanksgiving Leftovers: Cranberry Sauce & Orange Smoothie

Sometimes the best part of the meal isn’t the meal itself, but rather the leftovers.

We’ve enlisted the assistance of Eddie Lee Bryant from Norfolk's Town Point Club, who's figured out a way to make us feel less guilty the morning after Thanksgiving with this tasty—but healthy—cranberry sauce and orange smoothie.

The Leftovers: Cranberry Sauce

The Encore Eat: Cranberry Sauce & Orange Smoothie



1 apple, peeled, cored and diced

1 orange, peeled and segmented

1/2 cup leftover cranberry sauce

1 cup ice, crushed

4 ounces plain yogurt (optional, vanilla or banana)

1 cup orange juice

Cold water as needed



In blender add apple, orange, cranberry sauce, ice and yogurt. Pour in orange juice and pulse, blending until smooth. Add water if needed.

Yields 1 smoothie
