Guilty pleasure? Reality TV.

On a first date I never ... kiss, but a goodbye hug is ok.

If I had one wish: I would take a peek into the future and see what it’s like.

My first kiss: Very wet, sloppy and extremely awkward. I’m pretty sure I wiped my mouth with the back of my hand afterwards.

Worst habit? I always seem to drop a glob of toothpaste in the sink when I am brushing my teeth. Happens every time!

Most people don’t know this about me: I used to be extremely shy.

Phobias? I am afraid of the moon. Yes, it has a face ... look closely.

Biggest goal in life? To be successful in my career and family life.

Favorite neighborhood? Ghent

Most exciting trend? All the apps on the iPhone. There seriously is an app for everything.

If you were an entrepreneur, what sort of business would you start? I would have my own fashion boutique.

Your life’s biggest development so far was ... moving to West Palm Beach for a job opportunity without ever visiting.

Best date spot in Coastal Virginia? Any restaurant on the boardwalk overlooking the ocean.

My take on Coastal Virginia’s singles scene: Honestly I haven’t met many singles! Lots of families here.

What do you find sensational about yourself? I am short, silly and spunky.

Why do you think you are single? I just haven’t met my match yet.

In the market for? Someone with a sense of humor and adventure, successful in their chosen career and who believes in keeping fit.

I never leave the house without ... my running gear.

Guilty pleasure? Dark chocolate.

My first kiss: Coat room in third grade. Victim of a hit and run.

Worst habit? Pizza and beer.

Most people don’t know this about me: Ran smack into Morgan Freeman heading into a NYC Subway in 1990 just after Glory came out. He was not happy.

Phobias? Catholic nuns with rulers.

Biggest goal in life? Just being happy being me.

If you were an entrepreneur, what sort of business would you start? Home repair, especially with much older homes. Love the old Victorians.

Your life’s biggest development so far was ... watching my oldest daughter head off to college.

Best date spot in Coastal Virginia? Anywhere on or near the water around sunset.

My take on Coastal Virginia’s singles scene: This is a great area. It really does offer the opportunity to meet people from all over the country and other parts of the world. I think you just have to remain open to the possibilities.

What do you find sensational about yourself? In recent years I have discovered this new level of creativity with upcycling old junk into cool home furnishings, lamps and wind chimes. Best part of all, my 11-year-old daughter is my assistant, my muse and my creative business partner.

Why do you think you are single? Someone recently pointed out that I spend too much time with work, family obligations and completing a home renovation project that has been ongoing for almost a year.

Guilty pleasure? Frozen dinners.

On a first date I never ... arrive without having one drink before.

If I had one wish: Move to a Spanish-speaking country.

My first kiss: Would be a spontaneous one.

Worst habit? Twirling my hair.

If you were an entrepreneur, what sort of business would you start? A small bed and breakfast on the coast of a Spanish-speaking country.

Your life’s biggest development so far was ... moving to Spain without any former knowledge of the language.

Best date spot in Coastal Virginia? Pacifica on 40th Street at the Oceanfront.

My take on Coastal Virginia’s singles scene: A lot of places to meet people besides the bar scene.

What do you find sensational about yourself? Bubbly personality.

Why do you think you are single? Because I am waiting for the right one.

Ever been married? No.

Length of longest relationship: 3.5 years.

Dealbreakers? Mandals (man sandals) or a puka shell necklace.

I never leave the house without ... sunglasses and lip gloss.

Guilty pleasure? All-inclusive vacations.

On a first date I never ... go Dutch!  

If I had one wish: I’d wish for the wisdom of all the smart leaders that came before me ... and a lifetime of hot legs.

My first kiss: Any day now—I’ve been practicing on my pillow for 33 years.

Worst habit? Not following directions on any recipe.

Most people don’t know this about me: I thought I would be an adult and have it all figured out by the time I was 30. I do not.

Phobias? Heights.

Biggest goal in life? Have a happy family.

Favorite neighborhood? Old Beach, Virginia Beach.

Most exciting trend? Bacon, on everything.

Your life’s biggest development so far was ... the impact I have on my community as a Virginia Beach Jaycee and an active citizen, and I don’t plan on stopping any time soon.

Best date spot in Coastal Virginia? Tides Inn.

My take on Coastal Virginia’s singles scene: Being single can be scary, but I am happy to say I enjoy the fact that in this area there is an opportunity to date outside my comfort zone and meet really great people with all different upbringings, jobs and lifestyles until I find my fit.

What do you find sensational about yourself? I am a take-charge kind of girl who never stops smiling.

Why do you think you are single? Because when I’m ready to commit myself to someone for the rest of my life, I want to be 100 percent ready to close the single chapter of my life. Forever is a long time, and I don’t take that commitment lightly.
