Citrus Sage Spritzer

In a rocks glass with ice, combine:
3 ounces Barboursville Viognier
2 ounces Cointreau
1 ounce Sage Simple Syrup (see note)
Top with soda water

Note: to make Sage Simple Syrup: In a saucepan, combine
1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, about 10 sage leaves and
bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and steep to taste.
Allow to cool before use. Store in the refrigerator.
