PIN exists to provide food, clothing, shelter, and free medical care for people that are either homeless or extremely poor. The ultimate focus is to help the homeless of Hampton Roads transform their lives by meeting them where they are and sharing a God that loves them and wants a relationship with them.
PIN is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that serves homeless people in Virginia Beach. Services offered by PIN include; food, clothing, hygiene supplies, living necessities, medical care, and shelter.
PIN has been serving the homeless of Virginia Beach Since June of 2002 when we served 12 sandwiches to 5 homeless people. PIN has grown over the 10 years not only in the number of people we serve, but also in quantity and quality of services provided. PIN serves over 200 people each week. PIN does a great job of meeting people’s physical needs, but the most important thing PIN helps with is the internal needs. PIN helps the homeless with the internal needs through our recovery groups, church service, and bible study.
PIN is excited about what God has planned for us in the future, and look forward to you joining us in our mission.
