Hampton Roads Magazine will  be hosting one of the homes at this year’s Spring Homearama at Culpepper Landing in Chesapeake’s historic Deep Creek community. The Hampton Roads Magazine home features a unique design, “The Little Big House” by renowned builder, Stephen Quick.

The Little Big House explores the concept of a large lifestyle in a littler home. “The new economy is forcing us to be more creative with making sure that families can afford homes,” says Stephen Quick IV of Stephen Alexander Homes and Neighborhoods. “The goal behind the Little Big House is to make sure we take the large lifestyle from a large house and put it in a very affordable package.”

With this concept, the house will feature all the amenities of a larger scale home such as wide open spaces, generously sized family rooms and kitchens that feature all the same textures, parts, pieces, lighting and professional appliances that you would find in a large home. “We think it’s the best value you can find in our area,” Quick says.

During the two-week period of Homearama, from June 16 to July 1, HRM will be coordinating several special events that you won’t want to miss. All events are free with your admission to Homearama.
