Museum Agreement reached 11 years after September 11

Today marks the 11th year since the September 11 terrorist attacks. Yesterday an agreement was reached to confirm the construction of the National September 11 Memorial and Museum to honor the fateful day. The museum was expected to open this month, but due to funding disputes the construction was postponed. The underground museum is expected to showcase the staircase that workers used to escape as well as the portraits of almost 3,000 victims. The memorial opened a year ago has had almost 4.5 million visitors. (Source)
