Operation Blessing prepping Haiti for Hurricane Isaac

Hurricane Isaac is projected to make landfall on Friday. Unfortunately, the hurricane is expected to hit Haiti, a country still struggling to rebuild after the 2010 earthquake. “LOLZ,” “Photobomb,” “Video chat” make it into Oxford Dictionaries Online

LOLZ, mwahahaha, photobomb, tweeps, video chat and Wikipedian are just a few of the newest words to make it into the Oxford Dictionaries Online. These words join the other recent additions to the Dictionaries, such as “OMG,” “LOL,” “sexting” and “buttload” to name a few. Do not be confused, though. These words have not made it into the Oxford English Dictionary, which keeps a historical record of words and tracks core definitions.  (Source)

Study reveals declining middle class

The Pew Research Center conducted a study that shows median middle-class wealth dropped 28 percent between 2000 and 2010. Only 51 percent of adults are now considered middle class, down from 61 percent in 1971. Though some have joined the ranks of the upper classes, the lower income group rose 4 percent. To be considered middle class, a family of three must make between $39,000 and $118,000. (Source)
