Raymond Perry says he didn’t murder Norfolk police officer in 2010

Raymond Lewis Perry, the 20-year-old man accused of killing Norfolk police office Victor Decker in Virginia Beach in 2010, said in a jailhouse interview today that he is innocent. He admits making some poor choices in his life but says he didn’t murder Decker. He said he believes someone lied about his involvement in exchange for a reduced jail or prison sentence on their own charges. Perry sends this message to the victim’s family: "For my victim's family, I didn't commit the crime and I'm sorry that you have to go through this. I feel like no family should have to endure that pain ... No family should have to go through that under any circumstances." (Source)
