Pull Up A Seat
Harper’s Table, the namesake restaurant of chef/ owner Harper Bradshaw, gives folks a taste of the South through eats and ambiance.
First, the food. Award-winning Bradshaw, formerly of Vintage Tavern, serves an approachable, upscale Southern-inspired menu with a farm-to-fork, regional emphasis. Look for delicious, creative offerings like Whaleyville collards with hot pepper vinegar, pictured below.
The downtown Suffolk restaurant opens up to a comfortable, stylishly rustic dining room with an exposed brick wall behind the bar—which showcases a found-during-construction, century-old Coca Cola billboard—lots of wood and effective ambient lighting. There is also a private dining area.
We are always glad to pull up a seat at Harper’s Table.
