The ROI Connection into Greater Productive Realities

On April 9, from noon to 1 p.m., Shelley D. Smith of Premier Rapport will present “The ROI Connection into Greater Realities” in the fourth Pink Bag Luncheon of the year, hosted by the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce (VPCC).

Smith is the owner of Premier Rapport. 

“At its very core, Premier Rapport Is all about the CONNECTION,” said Smith, referring to her new book about the opportunities we have to connect on many levels in our professional lives. 

Her consulting firm serves businesses of all sizes with overall leadership, executive coaching, organization development and corporate wellness.

The luncheon is scheduled to begin at noon and includes 10 minutes of business networking, where members are encouraged to make business connections and distribute business cards.

Lunch will be provided by one of VPCC’s 2015 Catering Sponsors.


The cost of the event is $5 for members and $10 for non-members.

Members attending are encouraged to also bring business handouts, giveaways and goodie bags to display on a table in the front lobby of the VPCC. Attendees can pick up any information at their convenience.

Shelly D. Smith is the owner of Premier Rapport and author and “THE CONNECTION: The Playbook for Business Owners and Executives.”

She has business certifications from Cornell University and has received numerous awards and recognitions throughout her 30-year professional career. Before opening her own firm, Smith worked with Marriott International’s Hotels Division, eventually transitioning into the Hotel Franchise sector.

Smith is a board member and President Elect of the Peninsula Women’s Network, the longest continuously operating women’s network in the country. A happily married mother of three, she is also an active member in her church. Smith and her family reside in Newport News, Virginia.
